Phase III Of The Delhi Metro Will Be Powered By Solar Energy - How Awesome Is That!

We’ve got some awesome news y'all - Phase III of the Delhi Metro will work on solar energy! How awesome is that?!

Talks are going on to make it entirely work on solar energy most likely if not certain parts for sure. 

Delhi Metro recently signed a purchase agreement for 25 years with Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited, a joint venture between Solar Energy Corporation of India and the Madhya Pradesh government in order to make this work.

Under this agreement, Delhi Metro will take 345 MUs annually of energy which is more than sufficient to make this project happen. 

DMRC has been trying since a really long while to make this solar energy fueling to happen due to the depleting environment and thus finally it’s got some direction!
