Heading out for a geddi but forgetting to wear a mask and ending up paying a challan was fosho annoying and pinched our pockets. But folks, we’ve got an exciting piece of news for you which will defo breathe a sigh of relief, so read on!

Masks Off In Cars, Folks | The Delhi Government issued an order stating that people travelling in private four-wheelers without a mask will longer be fined. The fine for not abiding by the social distancing norms and not wearing a mask in public has also been reduced from Rs 2,000 to Rs 500. With a decline in COVID-19 cases, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority AKA DDMA has finally lifted all restrictions after two long months which took a toll on all economic activities.

This implies that the night curfew has been lifted, markets can remain open till 10:00 PM and cafes, restaurants, bars & cinema halls can operate at 100% capacity. DDMA also stated that schools would discontinue online classes and physical classes would be held from 1st April onwards. According to the city health department, the positivity rate has dropped to 0.81%.
