Our Very Own Delhi Is The World's 6th Fastest Growing & Best Performing Metropolis, Guys! *Woah*

Dear Delhizens, we’ve got something to tell you that’ll make you super proud of living in the capital of India! Excited to find out what the good news is? We’re dying to tell you too! So without any further ado, read ahead! 

#ProudDelhiite! | So according to the Global Economic Performance Index, Delhi ranked 6th amongst the 300 fastest growing and best performing metro areas globally! And that is super duper cool! Just behind Beijing in the race, Delhi has once again proved to the world that it indeed is (among) the best! 

According to a Brookings study, Delhi generated over 6 lakh jobs during 2014-16 and its per capita income rose to 6.6%. Isn’t that great?! Amongst the nine Indian metro areas in the global index, Delhi performed the best and outperformed other cities in two key areas - job opportunities and standard of living.

Right now, we’re kinda bursting with pride - way to go, Delhi!
