North Campus is famous for a plethora of reasons and one of them amongst is the variety of food joints it offers. We decided to visit one such place, Tony’s, a place that is a must-visit for every food lover, focussing primarily on toasts (yup, you read that right!). The place offers an interesting assortment of toasts and needless to say, the toasts are delicious, easy on your pockets, are a good getaway from the banal college life and serve as a nice detour. Here’s what particularly piqued our interest –

Chicken Salami

Get past the basic sandwiches and toasts, and take a look at this Chicken Salami toast by Tony’s. The bread is grilled to perfection; the taste of chicken offers a nice blend to the cheese, grilled flavour and the sauces. 

Paneer Masala French Toast

This is a delight for the vegetarians! The toast is grilled, served with ample quantity of paneer and is Tony’s’ homage to the tradition of French toasts. The toast is, accordingly, a French toast served with a twist: the paneer dominates the flavour and easily pleases your taste buds. We recommend this for all the veggie-lovers (or for Tuesdays, you know).

Nutella Cheese Toast

It’s Nutella and cheese, served with two slices of grilled bread, and topped with sprinkles and chocolate sauce. Need we say more? The toast is heaven for all the cheese and chocolate lovers. The taste will take your taste buds to the seventh heaven and let’s just say, cheating on your diet has never been better than this.

Nutella’s chocolaty flavour with the caffeinated ingredient is bound to be a treat for all the dessert lovers, and to top it all, there’s sprinkles and chocolate sauce to accentuate your experience. Chocolate and coffee: the duo that never disappoints.

Hot Mexican Chips French Toast

So this is an ideal choice for all the spicy-food lovers. As the name suggests, the toast offers a spicy delight for your taste buds and is a challenging item. You can easily fall in love with this toast and pleasantly yearn to have some water after it.
