The past 2-3 days have been humid or scorching hot in the day, while sometimes cloudy in the evening. And now according to the weather report, the weather may bend towards pleasant temperature with rains being expected in the city. Here’s what the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said.
Rain, Rain Come Again! | Saadi Dilli may expect thundershowers and light rainfall till Tuesday, the 16th of June. The reason being that there is a low-pressure area running from North Pakistan to over the Bay of Bengal across northern Rajasthan. Plus, there is a Western disturbance affecting North-West India and a cyclonic circulation in UP has blended with cyclonic circulation over northern Odisha.
As a result, we may be able to see cloudy skies, light rainfall and even thunderstorm which may result in lower temperatures. The city has seen temperatures rising over 40 degrees Celsius for the past two days.
This seems like some respite from the otherwise scorching Delhi summers. What do you think?
