An obscure gem located in the heart of Gurgaon, not many are aware of this passionate and beautifully quirky museum run by Aditya Arya, a renowned Indian photographer known for collecting, curating and archiving rare collections of photographs.

A Must-Visit Place | Giving you a chance to travel back in time and live the evolution of the camera, the Vintage Camera Museum, established back in 2009, is an in-house treasure trove of analogue cameras showcased by Aditya himself. Known as a collector of cameras for the past 35 years now, Aditya buys them from scrap dealers or flea markets, fixes them and keeps them in his nirvana!

Walking us through his museum, he very generously took us through the journey and evolution of the different cameras displayed there. Besides analogue cameras, you can witness many prominent items such as the earliest flash equipment, photographic films, lenses, enlargers and light metals - et al!

The walls are sprinkled with the character through Kulwant Roy's historic images who was a photojournalist in pre-independence India.

If you think you can buy these cameras, then you’re highly mistaken. Aditya only buys cameras and does not sell them, for they’re his babies. A place where every corner, and every piece of equipment has a story to tell, this camera museum is a must-visit for all camera aficionados!
