Nooo! Phase 3 of Delhi Metro Pushed Till Dec - Launch of Heritage Line Postponed

The much awaited Phase 3 of Delhi Metro that was supposed to be launched now, has been put off till December! Yes the Heritage Line will now be launched two months later, so our metro comfort zone isn’t getting to us so soon!

The first of the lot will be the Heritage Line that will open near the year-end and connect ITO in Central Delhi to Kashmere Gate in North Delhi. The expansion of the phase and the new and improved technology being used is the reason why the opening is being delayed.

Noida residents heading to South Delhi will be the first ones to benefit once the Kalkaji-Botanical Gardens station starts functioning as their travel time will then become half!

Let’s hope that this doesn’t get delayed any further now!
