DelhiNo Gathering Of Over 50 People Is Allowed In the Capital Till The 31st Of March
We keep hearing developments about the ongoing health crisis and one recent happening that the CM has announced has got us applauding the efforts to curb the dissemination of the COVID-19.
Avoid Crowded Places | As per the Epidemic Diseases Act of 1897, all kinds of gatherings, be it religious, social, political, cultural and protests, with over 50 people has been banned by the Delhi Government. This ban is applicable till the 31st of March, and along with this, all the schools, colleges, gyms, cinema halls, spas, swimming pools are also closed to prevent the spread of COVID - 19.
The CM has advised the district managers and municipal commissioners to install mobile washbasins in public places so that the people can keep their hands clean. The security guards will be given sanitizers for people who enter and leave the building. Taxis, autos, DTCs and metros will be disinfected on a daily basis as well. The passengers travelling by Delhi metro might also be screened, but this is yet to be confirmed.
