Listen up you guys, the New Delhi Railway Station is getting an all new look and we can’t wait to see it all decked up! Pretty soon, when you queue up to get your tickets or hasten to the platforms via the overhead bridge, you’ll be glad to spot vibrant wall paintings, tribal art and colourful graffiti all around you!

To be completed by the end of Feb, this aesthetic facelift requires various teams of artists from all over the country who are coming together to impart new hues and narratives to this historic train station!

Everything In Store | Work on this revamp has already picked up and the concourse has been redone to depict India’s culture, while the booking area has been painted to highlight the heritage structure that was built in 1926, back when the station was launched.

The overbridges have been given a bright orange and blue theme and the Ajmeri Gate side now has a bright red look to itself *NICE*!

One of the main aims here is cleanliness and that’s being achieved very easily with the new paint job that’s been done since it hides the hideous betel stains that used to festoon the walls.

Sounds cool, can’t wait to check it out for ourselves!
