With a number of developments taking place in the city, we just heard about this awesomesauce piece of news that will defo bring a smile to your face!
A New Fleet On The Street | We just heard that the first 25 buses of a much larger armada were introduced in the city on Tuesday, the 20th of August and were flagged off by the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. These new buses feature something called the hydraulic lifts on the rear end. If you’re wondering what they’ll do, the lifts will help in the movement of senior citizens and differently-abled passengers. These will especially be beneficial for those bound to a wheelchair!
The new buses form part of the planned fleet of 4,000 buses that will be introduced by the Delhi Government. Moreover, these newbies will also feature CCTV cameras, panic buttons, GPS and even rear surveillance cameras, all of which will be connected to the department’s control room.
Now, ain’t this a considerate move?!
