The Indira Gandhi International Airport is one of the most frequented airports and to make the experience more convenient and safe for travellers, the airport authorities are undertaking a few new anti-slipping steps!

No More Slipping | The airport authorities at IGI’s Terminal 3 are taking an initiative to make the floors anti-slippery as the floor was proving to be too slippery for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) staff’s daily exercises ever since the carpet was removed. They shall be refurbishing the floor with more slip-resistant materials. In addition to that, the authorities have also constituted a special committee to decide whether or not to replace the shoes of all of the 4,000 staff members at the airport.

The airport had faced a lot of backlash from the public owing to the now-removed carpet which was making the movement of the trolleys slower. Let’s hope these anti-slipping measures work out well!
