Nachos Mexicana & Butterscotch Cold Coffee: Try THESE Dishes @ These Great Cafes In Mayur Vihar!
Keeping alive our spirit of exploring the unexplored terrains and providing you with some foodie incentives, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to provide you with a platter of the best cafes in Mayur Vihar AND exactly what to try at each joint - here goes!
Paneer Chaap With Veg Saute Salad @ Nutri Cafe
If you’re one of those gym-obsessed calorie checkers, then this place shall be your new home! The name itself is enough description for what the cafe has to offer, which is a unique combo of dishes including a section called the ‘Gymmer’s Power Loaders’ which has things like Brown Rice with Chicken Chunks and smoothies along with all-time favourite Maggi dishes such as Maggie in White Sauce.
We tried their famous Paneer Chaap with Veg Saute Salad which was a delicious mix of shredded broccoli, mushrooms, capsicums and assorted veggies, all of which were slathered with a layer of their in-house special sauce as salad dressing. Yum yum!

Nachos Mexicana @ Senorita’s Mexican Grill
This cute little shop mesmerized and tempted us just by a glance at its menu, which includes Cheesy Baked Fries, Bechamel (White) Sauce Pasta, Cottage Cheese Steak Sandwich and other dishes that had our tummies rumbling in no time! We decided to go for their all-time famous Nachos Mexicana, which was basically cheesy heaven with a mix of three types of cheeses as the top layer and a special home-made sauce with the stuffing of two whole layers of nachos. It can’t get more cheesy than this, and we’re sure this is going to be your permanent hangout spot as it already is for many of the locals!

Garlic Chaap @ Cafe Tandoor
Right next to Senorita’s Mexican Grill is this extremely innovative cafe with a tandoor in the shape of a van right out front! As the name clearly suggests, their menu is dedicated towards serving the best tandoori dishes including Malai Chaap Roll, Tandoori Garlic Soya Chaap, Pudina Paneer Tikka and basically everything tandoori.
Though famous for a lot of dishes, their most ordered one is the Garlic Chaap. Red with spices, masalas and freshly cooked chicken from the tandoor is what made it sensationally amazing! Served with an assortment of pudina chutney, onions and lemons, it definitely satiated our tandoor-hungry appetites!

Butterscotch Cold Coffee @ Freakin Beans
Right at the entrance of the Mayur Vihar Phase I market is this cute little cafe with twinkling lights, brimming with throngs of people. Their source of pride is their variety of smoothies, cold coffees, iced teas and other mind blowing beverages, along with their speciality of Garlic Cheese Bread. We went ahead and ordered their Butterscotch Cold Coffee - the cold coffee had a unique flavour of the strong taste of rich coffee mixed with the splendid taste of pure butterscotch *starry eyed*. It was definitely a refreshing change from the usual frappes and lattes we keep ordering here and there!

Mutton Keema Pav @ Haqeem’s
This charming little place has a very adorable tale to tell! It’s run by two close-knit sisters who launched their dream cafe last year, which is already a huge success! Their menu has the most unique set of drinks, as they are named after their best friends who helped in their cafe journey and includes things like Peach Pallu-Tea, Zainna and the No No Drink along with a section called ‘Cheat Meal’, having things like Cheezy Maggie and Egg Roll.
We tried a plateful of their famous Mutton Keema Pav, with the pavs emblazoned with cutesy smiley faces on them, and the keema which was the perfect, desi mutton dish necessary when major hunger strikes. We relished every last morsel of this one!
