We already know that several schools run by the Delhi Govt. and civic bodies have been functioning as isolation wards for COVID-19 patients. But, a private school in the city has now been turned into a 100-bed facility and here’s everything you need to know about this.

One For Hope | Mount Carmel School in Dwarka is now the first private school to set up a COVID Care Facility. The works for this had already been underway for a while, but recently its founder succumbed to the virus and so the facility here has been named after him. Patients with mild symptoms will be admitted here and at present, they have 100 oxygen beds.

They also have oxygen cylinders and concentrators and their friends from South Korea have gifted them two oxygen generator plants that will be running by this weekend. 75 volunteers including doctors and nurses from Christian hospitals will be working with them. There will be 4 full-time doctors with a nursing staff present, and they will be attending patients with mild to moderate symptoms who require the least assistance.

What do you think about this move? And if you know of someone who might benefit from this, pass on the word!
