Delhizens, we’re the bearers of some bad (read ridiculous) news for you. We’d suggest you prepare for this ‘cause it's an absolute shocker. Read on as we tell you what's up and why we’re not okay with it at all.
Single Women Entry Banned At M.G. Road Pubs? | Most pubs and nightclubs situated on Gurgaon’s M.G. Road are apparently denying entry to single women, which is pretty shocking. This comes after the police conducted raids there on the 3rd of July, in order to check allegations of immoral trafficking.
So ladies, it seems like there will be no partying for you here anymore unless you’re accompanied by your husband and are able to produce proof of your marriage. This, to us, sounds completely bizarre and just not acceptable. However, the Commissioner of Gurgaon Police has denied passing any such order.
This seems pretty illogical as marriage is no insulation against crimes, right? We’re hoping this turns out to be a short-lived thing! Stay glued to this space and we’ll keep you posted on all further developments.
