Delhi Government's proposed excise policy is really going to shake things up for us tipplers. Be it reducing the number of dry days in town to allowing restaurants to serve alcohol in open spaces, they're changing a lot of things!

All You Need to Know | The restaurants that procure liquor from wholesale shops needn't completely depend on them now - they'll also have the option of getting their booze from retail shops by paying an extra 20% excise duty. As of now, the government has also proposed that the liquor license granting power would be taken away from the Delhi Police, and handed over to its Food and Supplies Department. Hear hear!

So even though the license fees for pubs, restaurants and private parties would get costlier, you're still in for quite a lot of perks!
