Dusting the much adorned lanes of Janpath with an edgy, yet laid back appeal is a new restro-bar aptly called ‘Tourist.’ This free-spirited nightlife hotspot has an ambience that reeks wanderlust through every nook and cranny, spread out over two floors of seating and an alfresco rooftop setting creatively equipped with bunk beds, maps covering walls and even an airport-like waiting lounge. From the passport-inspired menu that serves North Indian, American and Chinese cuisines, we loved their Hassle Potato and Minestrone Soup the best.

THAI HOUSE BY KYLIN

It's time to answer with a vengeance all those Thai food cravings Delhi, with THAI HOUSE BY KYLIN all set to serve but the best. The decor of this place revolves around the theme country of Thailand, with cane furniture and bold red cushions both inside and in their alfresco area. The gorgeous lighting makes it all the more plush! Their menu is crafted with nothing but select traditional Thai delicacies from Central and South Thailand. We can’t get over their sumptuous veg spring rolls named Popia Th Od.!

Hunger Strike

Infamous for it’s do-or-die attitude and insatiable demand for good momos (obviously tandoori); Delhi is blessed to have a new (third) branch of Hunger Strike open up in the posh GK I M Block Market. Just another hole in the wall place; this joint is of the take-away nature where you can get fast food and some other North Indian preparations. We go head over heels over their Tandoori Momos, but you must also give their Manchurian Rolls a chance.

Imperfecto

Coming to the menu, which is simply stacked with bun-centred delicacies, of which we loved their Maggi Buns and Bhujiya Buns. This place offers delicious, quick grub at very affordable rates - go try!

If you’ve ever been to their GK I outlet, you’ll know this place is not to be missed! They serve Mediterranean as well as Italian preparations. The Benalla and the Tuscan Falafel are absolute must-haves here.

Newly popular with its advent in HKV is Capsule; a hip new restro bar in the party neighbourhood of town. Spread across four floors, each laid out differently and interestingly. From cosily crafted cabins with decor to match various moods, a cafe-style smoking area, eye candy decor, DJ consoles and pretty alfresco space, Capsule has something to charm each and every one of us. The menu here is a celebration of Continental, North Indian and Italian cuisines. We loved their Dexter and Mirch and Paneer Poppers!

Hearken Cafe

Here’s to the altruistic spirits that worked out the beautiful concept behind Hearken Cafe and co-working space; a place run by deaf. The laid-back, no fluff space is done with pink and teal hues and has a fresh vibe to it. An open terrace space and sheesha lounge adds to its beauty. There’s vivid artwork on each wall that is captivating to all visitors. The cafe serves fusion food inspired from the flavours of Europe. Their Summer Mango Mixer and Bhel Puri was to die for.

Mama's Buoi

The GTB Nagar eatery belt just saw a new high on their cafe list with Mama’s Buoi enticing crowd to its top notch, spacious and inviting interiors! Divided into three sections called Good Buoi, Bad Buoi and Hell Buoi; you can plop yourselves down at any, depending on your music taste. 
The decor comprises wooden walls, comfy couches, bright lights and minimal decor. North Indian, Continental and Italian delicacies are served here of which we were smitten by their Cheese Sticks and Chocolate & Mint Shake.

In their menu, one may find Continental, Mexican, Italian, North Indian and Chinese fare, of which we’re total fans of their Fries Mozz!

Baba's Chicken

Fancy some tikke-shikkey from Punjab? Have them right here in Delhi with a new outlet of Baba’s Chicken (of Ludhiana fame) now open in Gurgaon. This comfy dine-in outlet is brightly lit with white walls all covered in picture frames and comfortable dining chairs in bold hues of reds and blues. They have a menu that is stashed with all dishes North Indian and Mughlai. We swear by their Dal Makhani and you’ll fall in love with it too!
