Rehab Services ‘On The Go’ | AIIMS has come up with an ingenious way of curbing substance abuse, particularly that of opioids in Delhi. They’ve introduced vans which will deliver methadone to the people afflicted with addiction in hopes of curing them. Isn’t that amazing? The number of people abusing opioids has significantly increased, nearly 3 folds over the past years. In fact, the present data points 28 lakh people in addiction.

This is India’s first ever mobile methadone distributing van and by kicking off this service, India becomes the first country in the South Asian region to do so (wow)!
