While skimming through the streets of Mayur Vihar, we asked the locals to point us in the direction of their BEST chaat wala and heard everyone yell out just one name - Raja Ram Chaat Bhandar, which has been their crown jewel for 12 years and we needed no more persuasion to try this place out for ourselves! After trying their very best we can now vouch for its reputation, and here we are to regale you with the best chaat to eat here:

Even though it brings tears to everyone’s eyes, gol gappe will forever be the tempting and spicy treats that they are! And the Gol Gappe at Raja Ram Chaat Bhandar were no exception. Their Gol Gappas were the perfect combination of just the right amount of spice and sweet imli, and their gol gappe wala pani refreshed our senses to the fullest!

In order to cool the spicy heat generated by their awesome Gol Gappas we went on to try their Dahi Gol Gappe which were a unique blend of gol gappas filled with fresh and sweet dahi along with imli chutney and topped with masala-coated kur mures (omg omg!). It offered a delightfully refreshing taste which is just what our tastebuds desired.

Aloo Tikki

We ended our expedition to Raja Ram Chaat Bhandar by trying their famous Aloo Tikki. The freshly fried tikki was cut into pieces and covered by a layer of cool and sweet dahi which was the perfect mixture of pudina chutney and imli chutney, and offered a welcoming contrast to the hot and spicy aloo tikki. How does it get any better than this?!

Price | Rs 20

Having everything ranging from reputation, experience and exquisite taste, Raja Ram Chaat Bhandar has definitely stood its ground for us and we know we’ve given you enough incentives and temptation to go ahead and explore it for yourselves. So don’t stop yourself and get going, me amigos!
