We were looking for places to escape the noise of the city life, a place where the sky's bejewelled with a million stars, calming meadows all around, where you can end your listless days gazing at the most breath-taking sunsets. And our search came to a fruitful end when we found ALL this and more at this cosy nook in Himachal Pradesh!  

Overlooking The Lush Valley | The Blue Sheep Tirthan is a cutesy little homestay/hostel that promises all you gypsy souls a comfy stay. Complete with extensive woodwork, it has a super-gorgeous dining area that comes complete with a fireplace - nice. You can either book yourself an incredibly affordable spot in a dorm or even a separate room over here if you prefer your own personal space. The tariff here for an individual room is priced at Rs 1,800 whereas a dorm will barely pinch your pockets at Rs 800, which ain’t too shabby. This picturesque homestay is located JUST 10 mins away from the river and we already know the route we’ll be taking for our lazy evening walks!

While you’re here you can go exploring the surrounding area and treat your inner adventurous nerd with some hiking around the area. The lush garden surrounding this nook bears fresh summer fruits like pears, plum, apricot, cherry and even golden Himalayan raspberries, making it a gorgeous site!
