Delhi Police is taking a step forward technologically, and is planning on collaborating with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to use their space technology for live crime mapping and adopting a ‘predictive policing’. With this system, officials will be able to access vital information in real time rather than going back to the police station for filing reports. In addition, every distress call would be converted into a digital message with the location of the caller instantly available.

The police would also be able to identify gangs in specific areas instantly. Isn’t that just too cool? This may just revolutionise how the system works. Woohoo!
