India's 1st Cable-Stayed Bridge B/W North & North-East Delhi Is Opening On 4th November!

Delhizens, did you know about this under-construction bridge which is gonna be the first cable-suspended, asymmetrical bridge in the country? No? Then here’s some news for ya!

Bringing North & North-East Delhi Closer | The iconic Signature Bridge, with a futuristic look and cables on either side is FINALLY gonna be thrown open on the 4th of November and we’re so excited to go on a drive on this newbie! 

The bridge, which has seen a lot of delays in terms of construction, will scoot in as the guardian angel for all us Delhiites! The existing two-lane Wazirabad Bridge is overloaded with traffic and people travelling from Timapur and ISBT towards Khajuri Khas are affected by heavy traffic jams currently. This upcoming Signature Bridge will help reduce travel time between North and North-East Delhi and we couldn’t be more thankful!

The project was first conceptualised in 2004 and now after all these years, it’s FINALLY become a reality!
