In A Bold Move, AAP's Mohalla Clinics May Soon Pop Up @ 20 Metro Stations
A majority of people in India don’t have access to medical treatment, and those who do, don’t get it in time because they have to travel far and wide to get to the nearest clinic. Thus, recently the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government launched the idea of Mohalla Clinics that’ll help people in need much quicker and easier.
AAP launched these clinics in schools first, and now the Delhi Government is planning to start its flagship Mohalla Clinics at metro stations. Twenty sites for setting up these primary clinics have already been identified! Nice!
In order to improve the city’s primary health care, the AAP Govt. has decided to set up 1,000 clinics in the city overall! Currently, there are around 115 Mohalla Clinics and soon the others will also be up and running.
Good deed indeed AAP Govt!
