
IMD Has Issued A Red Warning For The City As Temperatures May Touch 45 Degrees!

Hello, Dilli walo! By now most of us have been trying to find a way to cool down in the blistering heat that’s been on a rise for the past few days. And from what we just heard there’s no respite in the coming days.
Scorching Temperature | India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a ‘red warning’ on Saturday, the 24th of May for Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Rajasthan for the coming 2 days as the temperature is expected to surpass the 45-degree Celsius mark across numerous parts of North India. People have thereby been advised to stay at home between 1- 5 PM!
There maybe be heatwave-like or severe heatwave conditions in several pockets of the region. A heatwave is declared in plains when the maximum temperature is 45 degrees Celsius and a severe heatwave when it’s 47 degrees Celsius.
