IGI Goes Green | The IGI Airport is using more than 35,000 ‘air purifying’ plants that can survive indoors and serve dual purposes - reduce the air pollution that all us Dilli wallas are fighting, and make the place look greener and prettier!
According to IGI Airport officials, approximately 3.9 million square feet of the airport’s area is covered with plants and shrubs. Isn’t that great? So the next time you go to the airport, look out for indoor plant species like spider plants, golden pothos, bamboo palm and more.
Well done, IGI Airport!
