IGI Airport Has Been Declared As The Most Punctual From Top 20 Airports In The World

Remember we recently told you that our pride and joy - IGI Airport - has been declared the best airport in the ENTIRE world? Well, there’s more good news for you peeps, so keep on scrolling!

Always On Time! | So Delhi’s IGI Airport was recently declared as the most punctual airport of the top 20 ones in the world and we Dilliwallas are super super proud! Our dear airport has managed to beat rivals like Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, Illinois, Haneda International Airport in Tokyo and others! 

Punctuality was measured by the percentage of flights that depart or arrive within 15 minutes of schedule. A total of 19,748 flights had taken off from the IGI Airport, with a departure rate of 82.9% (which is great) and a cancellation percentage of only 0.3! 

Other Indian airports like those in Mumbai and Bangalore ranked poorly in the report, coming in at 50 and 78, respectively.  

IGI Airport is currently the seventh busiest airport in Asia and amongst the top 20 busiest airports in the world! Woah! Kudos to IGI!
