9 Ah-Mazing Events Coming Up This November

It’s already the beginning of the end of the year 2017 and we couldn’t be more surprised - this year just went whizzing by! And yet, the year still has loads of excitement and surprises left in store, and we’ve culled out all the most buzzing and happening events coming up this November - read on, bookmark and have a great month ahead y’all!

1. Pepsi Presents Horn OK Please (4th & 5th November)

Horn OK Please, Delhi’s Original Food Truck Festival presented by Pepsi has on offer 40+ food trucks, 50+ varieties of waffles at the Mini Waffle Fest at the Waffle Mart, Dessert Carts, a shopping arcade for the shopaholics called Quirk Bazaar, an Exclusive Bira 91 bar + beer garden *YAS*, Russian hookahs from Hookah Craft, and a perfectly curated lineup of homegrown artists and bands to boot! We’re already dreaming of all the yummy grub we’ll find at the fest - seeya there!

2. North East Festival (3rd - 5th November)

Going strong for the past 4 years, the North East Festival claims to be the the most colourful festival out of all the ones happening this wintry month! Something which we look forward to every year, this festival showcases everything our pretty North Eastern states and heritage have to offer. From North Eastern cuisine to their handloom and handicraft, from photography exhibitions to Bollywood singers, this is going to be one interesting festival!

3. Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha (11th November)

If you’re one of those old-world souls who still believes in the magic of theatre over cinema and prefer spending your evenings watching plays, then this star-studded performance will surely attract you to no lengths. From the talented Rakesh Bedi (director), the star cast includes veterans Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta! We can’t even imagine missing out on a play by these two stalwarts!

4. AWA 2017 Mela (19th November)

This is one mela where you can do your good deed for the day and feel happy about it for the entire year! The entire proceeds from the mela go into an outreach programme helping more than 50 NGOs in Delhi NCR. We hope you take inspiration from them and do your bit for the community by purchasing the plethora of beautiful and varied products on sale! Seeya there, shopping bags in hand!

5. Jalsa Fashion Exhibition (21st November)

This do is not something which comes everyday but when it does, you better be ready with your credit cards and your eyes on the lookout like a hawk for the next best lehenga to be worn for your BFF’s wedding or the next best gown design for your pretty bridesmaid outfit! Jalsa is a one-stop-shop for all things fashion and lifestyle by famous designers under one roof - you HAVE to come drop by for a look-see!

6. India Art Festival (23rd - 26th November)

If you’re a budding artist, or a trying-to-make-ends-meet one, or even an established artist, this festival is SO for you! Having had 6 successful editions already, the India Art Festival brings together the entire art community under one roof for dialogues and collaborations between art galleries, art dealers, art buyers, artists, interior designers, architects and art connoisseurs. Art fanatics, are you listening?!

7. Times Lit Fest 2017 (25th & 26th November)

Taking place on November 26th & 27th, this festival is one that all literature lovers should definitely attend! The country’s leading authors, thinkers, influencers and speakers are going to come together to talk about various topics of common interest. Ruskin Bond (woah!), Shashi Tharoor, Kanhaiya Kumar, Barkha Dutt, Sharmila Tagore, Raghu Rai, Amitabh Kant and loads more influential people from various fields spoke at the event last year and we’re hoping this year the list is even more glittery and starry!

8. KYGO Performing @ Sunburn Arena (25th November)

All of us have grooved to EDM star KYGO’s mixes at pubs, It Ain’t Me, I See Fire and Firestone being personal faves, and now it’s time to groove to the DJ’s music LIVE! He’s headed to Sunburn and OMG we just cannot keep calm at all! Going from being a bedroom producer to one of the most hyped electronic artists of recent times, KYGO’s putting up a bomb of a concert and you gotta be there!

9. Books By Weight Sale (27th November - 1st December)

For those who still don’t have a clue about this much awaited, crazy sale, NO this is not your regular H&M sale, this sale deals with books and that too in kilos!
