For the past few days, there has been a steady rise in the number of new infections in the city and a sharp rise in the country. And so, keeping the current trends in mind, there is a buzz that Holi celebrations might get banned in the city and we’re here with all the necessary deets.

No Holi In Delhi? | So, the matter of this festival amidst the rising cases has been discussed with the state Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and they may soon issue an order regarding this. A public celebration of Holi can prove to be a super-spreader as the number of new cases keeps mounting up. So, it’d be important that people celebrate the festival at home and stay away from crowds.

The Delhi Government wanted to intensify the vaccine drive by allowing unregistered eligible people to get these shots between 3 - 9 PM. According to experts, it’s the violation of COVID-19 norms that could be behind the rise in the number of cases in the country.
