EPCA has asked the Govt. of Delhi, UP, Haryana & Rajasthan to make sure all 4-wheelers out there have colour-coded fuel stickers and High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) by October this year. Scroll on to know all the deets!

Herculean Task Ahead | The main motive behind this move is to help fight air pollution in the Delhi NCR regions, especially during winter months. These high-security plates will help in keeping track of the stolen vehicles, as well as in tracking them. Additionally, the windscreens of all the cars sold from April 2019 will need to have colour-coded fuel stickers to stipulate the fuel type the vehicle uses. It’s gonna be a herculean task, although, for Delhi has around 50 lakh 4-wheelers!

You all can get the stickers and the plates by registering online or approaching the government appointed vendor in Delhi & Haryana. However, UP and Rajasthan lack the availability of any vendors, which will pose problems, folks. We’re looking forward to seeing how this move pans out!
