Here's What Was Spotted On The Delhi Metro, Making Us Question Our Collective Social Conscience

Delhi Metro has definitely been our saviour in every sense of the word, rescuing us from back-breaking and endless travelling from one part of the city to another. But whilst browsing the net, we came across this image which has managed to evoke quite a few thoughts and emotions amongst Delhiites. Read on to know more!

Spotted On The Metro | We saw this post of an elderly man on the Delhi Metro, taking a nap right on the intersection between two coaches of the metro. While some people would just laugh it off, it forced us to think about the kind of society we live in. What we deduced from the picture is that the elderly gentleman was not offered a seat by his fellow, albeit younger-looking, passengers at all. 

So the question is, do we need to be a little more empathetic as a society, especially when travelling on the Delhi Metro? 

Besides, sitting or sleeping in the metro, in addition to being a criminal offence and liable to fine, is also pretty dangerous for the passengers, so take heed Delhi.

Let's all take a pledge to be more socially conscious and give up our seats to people who might be in need of them way more than us!
