DelhiHere's How You Can Apply For A Movement Pass In Delhi During The Lockdown
A nationwide lockdown was imposed last week for 21-days, however, some exemptions were made. Grocery shops and pharmacies are allowed to stay open 24x7 and the Delhi government will grant an e-pass to people providing essential services during this lockdown. And now, we just heard that people can too, apply for movement passes!
Stay Indoors, Stay Safe | During the ongoing 21-day lockdown, citizens can visit Delhi Police’s website to apply for a movement or a curfew pass. This pass is required by those who need to go out to avail essential services or buying important stuff and this pass will allow them to move without any hassle.
To apply for the Movement Pass, visit the Delhi Police website, click on the ‘Movement Pass’ tab, create an account, login with your username and password and fill in the application form, upload an identification proof like AADHAR or PAN Card and submit your application. As soon as your movement pass is approved, you’ll receive a SMS on your registered number that you can show whenever you head out.
The government has also introduced a food scheme that will help benefit 80 crore people in India, Rs 5,000 each will be given to construction workers, the number of night shelters will be increased, and a special team of 5 experienced doctors have also been set up to control the spread of the virus in Delhi.
