Here's How This Unique Platform Is Trying To Bridge The Gap Between Artists & Their Audience

Art has always been a tryst with imagination, one that is a representation of emotions. It allows us the freedom to express our creativity and gives our thoughts and imagination a beautiful outlet. Yet, we live in an era where being an established artist with a wide reach is like grasping at straws. And that’s why, we’re here to tell you all about Artsome, an art-based community that is bridging the gap between artists and muses. Read on! 

A One-Stop Solution For Artists | Artsome supports artists from all over the country to reach an audience and provide a platform for them to sell their work, along with connecting them to peers. They’re facilitators for artists to continue creating by helping them create efficient modules. Connecting both artists and collectors, Artsome helps artists to fixate their reach and sell their artwork without taking commission, and similarly, they help the collectors to find the right art piece for themselves. 

They recently organised an Artists Relief Fund that was held online on 6th August 2021, for which more than 500 artists had applied. The grant that was for Rs 4,00,000  was awarded to 10 artists who were exemplary in their art practice and had promising future goals with the grant they received. These 10 winners of the Relief Fund were Manisha Agrawal, Alamu Kumeresan, Anupama Alias, Arunangshu Roy, Gavara Sathyanarayan, Suresh Kumar Singh, Kalpana Vishwas, Jayeeta Chatterjee, Ganesh Srinivasan and R Gokul Raman. 

Artsome even conducts a free of cost workshop on NFTs, called Get NFT’d to train artists from all over the country and provide a stepping stone for them into the field. They even have an upcoming Artist Retreat.
