DelhiHere's A List Of What's Allowed And What's Not During The 6-Day Lockdown In Delhi
By now, you must all be aware of the restrictions on the movement of people in the city, right? Well, a lockdown has been imposed in the city till 26th of April, Monday 6 AM and stricter prohibitions will be imposed tonight onwards. So, we’re here with a list of personnel who’re allowed to move in the city. Let’s dive right into the list.
1. Officials of the Government Of India can move, upon producing a valid ID card.
2. Offices of GNCT will remain closed except for those who’re involved in essential services like in the departments of health, disaster management, police, prison, home guards, electricity, public transport, water & sanitation and other related services on showing a valid ID card.
3. All judicial staff members will be allowed to move, upon showing valid ID cards/ service card/ photo entry passes or permission letters issued by the courts.
4. All private medical staff such as doctors, nurses and others, upon showing a valid ID card.
5. Pregnant women and patients along with an attendant going for medical services upon showing a medical prescription or medical papers.
6. People who’re going for the COVID-19 vaccinations.
7. People who’re going to get their COVID-19 tests done on the production of a valid ID card.
8. People coming and going from railway stations or airports on showing a valid ticket.
9. Electronic and print media persons on showing an ID card.
10. Persons and students will be allowed to sit in the examinations on showing a valid admit card.
11. Officials of offices of diplomats of various countries will be allowed to move on producing an ID card.
12. Movement of people in the commercial and private establishment who’re working in essential services like banks, telecommunications, internet, food, petrol pumps, security services, delivery of food, manufacturing units, grocery shops and more such services will be allowed with the possession of an e-pass in soft or hard copy.
13. Places of worship can remain open but no visitors will be allowed.
14. Public transports such as the Delhi Metro and buses will be allowed to function with upto 50% of the total capacity.
15. All types of gathering whether it’s social, political, religious, academic, sports, entertainment, festival or cultural will be prohibited.
16. Weddings will be allowed with special permission and only 50 guests will be allowed.
