Here's 6 Offbeat Sandwiches We’re Sure You Haven’t Tried Yet!
Sandwiches are considered pretty simple, homely, comfortable and easy, simply because we’ve been eating them right from our childhood in our lunch boxes and other’s lunch boxes. Not exactly the epitome of gourmet food, right? Think again. They’re not always simple and they’re definitely not all the same. So here are some offbeat sandwiches which will definitely make you reconsider this gharelu staple!
1. Mumbai Masala Sandwich @ Sandwedges
This is one of those places where you head to, to have some loaded-with-flavours comfort food. We loved the Mumbai Masala Sandwich which was firstly, huge and secondly, loaded with veggies, mayo, cheese and those unique Mumbaiya spices! Their sandwich was crispy and gooey, with just the right amount of filling and they also have a mean set of drinks on offer. We also suggest trying the Pesto Exotica if you love spicy food as it’s an open sandwich with Italian veggies and fiery coriander pesto - yum yum!

Although located within the confusing, twisting lanes of Chawri Bazaar, this place should not be hard to find because everyone knows where it is and if you’re good at following pointed fingers, you’ll find it! While you may be used to chicken and cheese, prepare to be surprised as they specialize in Fruit Sandwiches!
Try their Mix Fruit Sandwich for a sweet, citrusy burst upon your tongue or the Mango Sandwich for some summer goodness. They’re a little hard to eat, all thanks to the large amounts of fruit oozing out, but if you’re messy as hell after eating, you know you had something amazing!
