Here's How The Noida Metro Is Planning To Operate After The Lockdown
The threat of the invisible enemy AKA COVID-19 has changed the face of everyday life and to ensure that social distancing norms are followed post lockdown, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation has rolled out few directives.
A New Face Of Travelling? | Once the lockdown is lifted, all the passengers travelling via Noida Metro will be required to wear a mask, have body temperatures not exceeding 37.7 degrees celsius and install Aarogya Setu App. Only those folks who will have ‘Safe’ status on the app will be allowed to enter the station premises. Moreover, people with any flu-like symptoms will not be allowed to enter.
Commuters will have to abide by the norms of social distancing and they will have to sanitize their hands as soon as they enter the metro station. Plus entry into the stations will be restricted in case of any overcrowding. Passengers will be asked to stand at a distance from each other and for this purpose, there will be several markings on the ground to guide them.
For the first few days, the frequency of the trains will be 15 minutes and then the ridership will be analysed on the basis of which this frequency will be changed. However, stations falling in containment zones will remain shut and trains won’t stop on these.
