While we love most things about Delhi, seeing our beloved city battle with extreme air pollution each year is beyond heartbreaking. But we, as responsible citizens, try to do the best that we can and comply with the regulations laid out by the government. Odd-even was one such initiative by the Delhi government, which has recently inspired our neighbour state, Haryana. Read all about it below.

Odd-Even In Haryana | Due to the soaring air pollution and continuous decline in air quality, The Haryana government has now decided to impose from next week an odd-even rule in four districts - Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, and Jhajjar, hoping to see a drop in the pollution levels and a reduction in road congestion. In addition to this, the state government has also decided to extend the work-from-home option till November 22 for employees.

The odd-even scheme was first implemented by the AAP Govt. in Delhi, and we’re super glad to see Delhi inspiring such schemes in the rest of the regions. Hope we win this battle against pollution together and keep initiating innovative schemes!
