
Haryana Govt. Puts A Statewide Ban On Hookahs To Curb Drug Addiction & Safeguarding People’s Health

An End To Sheesha Shenanigans | The Haryana Government recently announced that hookah services at various places such as cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs will be banned. This news came in the light when Haryana’s Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar who on his visits to Karnal for Cyclothon announced that he wanted the state to be drug free and spread awareness regarding the same. However, the ban will not be imposed on traditional hookah in the rural areas of the state. This move comes as safeguarding people’s health and spreading awareness about drug addiction.
It seems like Gurgaon peeps will have to bid goodbye to their fave hookah spots!
