Happy To Hear That NGT Is Banning The Use Of Disposable Plastic in Delhi NCR From 1st Jan!

The National Green Tribunal is all set and working at eradicating the use of plastic, with a new ban on the use of disposable plastic January 1st onwards! Disposable plastic is used mainly for grocery and regular chai cups, which are used in abundance in the city. 

The NGT lashed out at the Government for not showing interest in this topic and have asked them to take imperative steps toward taking care of this escalating problem. Along with this, even the MCD has been told to take necessary measures for the same!

Delhi’s three major dumping sites have come into the limelight, namely, Okhla, Ghazipur and Bhalswa! These sites are actually a vision of the mess than can be created affecting the environment and health of Delhiites. 

In the plea for cleanliness, this one step is said to help a lot and we fully support it!
