Guidelines On The Prohibited Items For Republic Day Parade For A Comfortable & Enjoyable Experience

As the nation gears up to celebrate the 75th Republic Day on the 26th of January, the iconic parade becomes a symbol of pride and patriotism. Thus, it's crucial to ensure the safety of the spectators and citizens as well as to carry out the celebration smoothly. That’s why we are here to shed light on the prohibited items and to make the public aware of adhering to essential safety measures. So, read on to know more!

Marching In Unity | If you are someone who is going to watch the Republic Day parade, we suggest you familiarize yourself with the dos and don'ts, lest you suffer on the d-day! We have curated guidelines on all the items that are prohibited by the police for spectators to take inside for the parade and they are as follows: 

Sharp objects such as knives, scissors, razors, blades, wires, screwdrivers, saws, drills and such items are strictly prohibited.
All kinds of eatables including ketchup and sauce will not be allowed
You are not allowed to also carry flasks, water bottles or cans inside. 
Whether you’re a videographer or an ordinary joe who wants the best shot of the parade, you will still have to keep your professional cameras, handycam and gear at home. 
Even small items like a pair of binoculars and remote controlled car keys will not be permitted inside. 
Basic items such as a purse, wallet, briefcase, bag or pen are too not allowed. 
To avoid any mishap, cigarettes, bidies, lighters, match boxes and alcohol too are strictly prohibited. 
In terms of accessories - perfumes, sprays, gels, pastes as well as umbrellas for all men, women & children are not allowed. 
Any kind of explosives, guns, gunpowder, replica firearms, ammunition, firecrackers, toy guns and flares are too prohibited.
All inflammable items, disabling chemicals and fuel will be considered dangerous items. 
Furthermore, even electronic gadgets are prohibited like digital diaries, laptops, tablets, I-pads and any other material that is highly flammable is a big no-no!
Be sure not to carry along a tape recorder or radio transistor to the venue.

However, you are allowed to take your mobile phones with you inside.
So, as responsible citizens of India please ensure to take the necessary precautions and advisories and an enjoyable experience for all!

PS- All passes have been provided before 26th Jan and only those with the pass can enter the venue to watch the parade. Also, the seats are available to all on a first come first serve basis, so make sure to reach on time.
