Got A Need For Speed? Beware! 3D Radars To Catch Traffic Violators In Delhi

Delhi Police is getting super tech savvy with all new 3D radars that will detect traffic violations and automatically detect and prosecute them then and there! Getting away from punishment for speeding and jumping the traffic signals is all set to get tougher! 

These new systems will be equipped with 3D radar technology and non-intrusive sensors capable of capturing the movement of multiple vehicles simultaneously. Via this they’ll be able to record the violations of various vehicles at once without any added human help. 

At the moment these 3D radars have been installed at a couple of places in the city for trial basis. At each location where this new technology will be employed, 12 high-definition cameras would be installed. 

Equipped to automatically read number plates, the system would not only determine the speed of the vehicles, but also record stop-line and lane violations and improper parking.

Once a violator is caught on camera a picture of the vehicle is taken via which the identity of the owner would also be revealed. A notice would be sent to the registered address of the vehicle along with an image that was taken by the 3D radar!
