Dwarka adds an amazing new eatery to its kitty almost every other day, so naturally, we’ve become a big fan of this place but sometimes, it’s good to go back to the basics and try out the famous but humble places that have made a name for themselves by dishing out quality food for years. The search for such a place led us to Raju Chur Chur Naan Wale in Sector 12. This humble eatery is mainly known for its loaded chur-chur naans. It was earlier a stall and has recently been converted to a small shop affixed with big boards and more stands to eat on. It is a pocket-friendly place and would cover both your breakfasts and lunches for they open shop as early as 10 in the morning and dish out yummies till 10 at night.

Now, delving into the main attraction of the place, i.e., the food. We ordered their Chur-Chur Naan Thali and were pleasantly surprised because the naans looked similar to a crumpled rose. The dish consisted of two insanely buttery and gigantic naans, gravies like dal makhani, shahi paneer, and mixed veg, all of which were topped with tons of cream and dry fruits, raita, salad, green chutney and small pieces of jaggery. This mammoth plate, which will cost you quite a hefty amount at any restaurant, comes for all but Rs 210, unbelievable, right?

The dal makhani we had here was just as creamy as any posh restaurant, shahi paneer incredibly tangy with a hint of sweetness & the mixed veg served as a toothsome side dish for the naans. Coming to raita, it had an even consistency, was remarkably chilled and came loaded with cucumbers, onions and boondi. This massive dish requires a huge appetite to finish it all in one go by a single person. The shine of the butter on the chur-chur naan was just a treat to the eyes!
