Going Green & Clean! Indian Railways to Run on Its Own Waste

A little birdie told us that the New Delhi Railway station will soon run on it’s own waste! How’s that even possible, you ask? The railway station will be equipped with a waste-to-energy plant!

How It Works | This waste-to-energy plant will convert all the garbage and other waste collected into manure and electricity. Now that’s what we call optimum utilisation of resources! 

As reported by Delhi Divisional Railway Manager, Arun Arora, this biomethanation plant will be up and running by June 2016. Going eco-friendly all the way, are we?
