Get From Noida To South Delhi In Just 19 Minutes Thanks To The Magenta Line Launch Today!

Bookmark

Metro travellers, we come bearing Christmas presents - the Botanical Garden - Kalkaji Mandir section of Delhi Metro’s Magenta Line will be presented to us on Christmas Day, i.e., today! YAY!

A Very Merry Christmas Indeed | The 12.64 km long Botanical Garden - Kalkaji Mandir section is gonna be a boon to all the commuters travelling between Noida and South Delhi as the line is likely to cut a substantial 45 minutes of travel time *WOAH*!

The line will see the inauguration of swanky new trains by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. With both Botanical Garden and Kalkaji Mandir Metro Stations acting as interchange stations - you can imagine the significant reduction in travel time between the Blue and Violet lines.

Once this entire corridor is functional, metro commuters from Noida can head over to GGN with an interchange at Hauz Khas - no more Rajiv Chowk chaos people - just imagine! This section of the metro will act like an angel for the students of Jamia Millia Islamia and Amity University. You know what the best bit is? Earlier it used to take more than an hour to get from Noida to Delhi, but now it’ll take a meagre 19 minutes! WOAH!

Also, the much awaited driverless trains will start from this line but that would only happen after 2-3 years of initial runs.

Could you have asked for a better Christmas present?! Nope.
