In previous years, the nursery admissions in Delhi have been stressful and chaotic. With the change in the government guidelines and policies each year, this process is no less than a nightmare for the parents. Each private school in the city has a different procedure which just adds on to the challenge. The nursery admissions for 2020 are starting today and here’s everything you need to know about it!

Trying Times | The admission process for nursery, kindergarten and class 1 in private schools are beginning from today in Delhi. The forms and the details on the admission process will be updated on the website of various schools today itself. A non-refundable registration fee of 25 bucks may be charged from the parents and the last day for the form submission is 27th December. The first list is expected to be out on the 24th of January, 2020.

Also, the draw of lots will be conducted in the parents’ presence, ensuring full transparency. The schools may also reserve 25% of seats for EWS category & for children with disabilities and a computerised draw of lots will be held for the same. The Department of Education has also informed that the schools cannot collect any donations or any other payment apart from the fee.

We hope the nursery admissions are smoother and transparent this year, what do y’all think?
