Shops and offices in Galleria Market facing frequent power cuts has no relation with the heat that crippled Delhi and the surge in electricity demands. The root of the problem is that banks have sealed the accounts of the Galleria condominium association, which looks after the maintenance of the hub.

The cause | The problem is persisting as electricity bills are due and according to the traders in the market the stock of diesel for generators will also not last for too long. The association has sufficient funds but now that their accounts have been sealed, even routine expenses are not being met.

So even minor things like operation of lifts and supply of water will be affected. We hope the dispute is resolved as soon as possible and proper working conditions are resumed.
