Owing to its amazing location, Galleria Market in Dlf phase 4 is said to attract more footfall than any mall in Gurgaon. It has a residential society (Ridgewood) on one side, DLF City Club on another and a main road on the third. Also right across the road is Cross Point Mall. It is believed that the shop rent rates here are the highest in Gurgaon, even higher than popular Delhi markets like Hauz Khas & Malviya Nagar etc.

Well Built

Galleria has a small, pretty fountain in the centre with shops all around it with four lanes taking you to the outer perimeter of shops. At the end of each such lane is a staircase on each side taking you to the shops on the first floor. It has been built very systematically and the symmetry in the architecture is quite evident.

All Under, No Roof

This popular market houses over a thousand shops and offices. One can find all kinds of shops here including stationary, sports equipment, apparel, coffee shops, chemists, restaurants, bakeries, gift shops, florists, meat shops, ice cream parlours, electronics stores, skin clinics, interior designing stores, salons, photo studios, drycleaners, footwear shops & banks even. Sure it is not air conditioned and only the fountain can provide some respite from the sweltering Delhi heat (unless you’re in an air-conditioned shop or restaurant of course) but that doesn’t stop Galleria from being Gurgaon’s favourite market. The number and variety of options available here are not easy to find elsewhere. Its location is definitely a bonus too.  With so much in one convenient place, it is easy to see why this marketplace is so famous.

Multi-Cuisine Food Court

Galleria Market offers you a huge variety of food options. If you want to stop by for a small bite or a quick cup of tea/coffee there are many options like Shake-A-Licious, Pikniks, Just Like That and the usual Café Coffee Day, Subway and Barista Lavazza. You must try a bubble tea at Bubble Teas here; some people come here especially for it. There are a number of varied lunch/dinner options as well, like Khan Chacha if you’re in the mood for kebabs and roomali rolls, Coco Palm if you want South Indian food, Crazy Noodles for Chinese and Fat Lulu’s for Italian.  If you’ve come here with the intention to spend time in a café or a lounge, Sakley’s- The Mountain Café, The Joint- An Addiction and Escape Terrace Bar Kitchen are your best options. So whatever it is that you wish to eat or drink, you’re likely to find it here.

Upgradation On The Cards

It is believed that soon Galleria will have escalators to take shoppers around. The Galleria Market Association president has said that the work will begin after acquiring the necessary permissions. Currently the rent rates of the first floor shops are lower than that of the ones on the ground floor but once the escalators are installed, the first floor rent rates are bound to be hiked.

To sum it up, it is a good market. There is a parking lot on one side. The marketplace is clean and well maintained with a number of public conveniences. It also has CCTV cameras installed in various places. Also, each entrance has a guideline board that tells you exactly where which shop is located so that you don’t get confused. This market is closed on Tuesday.
