In the post-COVID times, Delhi’s famous Khan Market has somewhat succumbed to the difficulties of the present terms and when you return to this place, it won’t be the same again and here’s why.

End Of An Era | With the mounting charges and the restrictions placed for following the social distancing norms, many places are closing down for good. From the crowd fave Full Circle Bookshop & Cafe Turtle to one of the first restaurants in the once buzzing market, Side Wok, have decided to close their shops.

But they aren’t the only ones, popular barbeque place Smokey’s BBQ And Grill and Smoke House Deli have also closed their doors permanently over here. With many more eateries soon following the suit, approx. 40% of the eateries in the upscale market have shut, marking the end of an era. High rentals, reduced working hours and night curfew are some of the reasons why they’re now shut, but there are some places that are still battling against all odds, trying to make the ends meet.

So, maybe the next time you drop by to dine at your fave lunch place, chances are that it might just be shut. But all we can do is hope that they emerge victorious at the end of this ordeal with flying colours. Which of these are you going to miss?
