For The First Time Ever, Arab Soldiers Will Be Proudly Marching In Our R'Day Parade!

This Republic Day’s got something special in store for us - for the first time ever, Arab soldiers will be marching in the annual parade! Oh yes it’s true guys, UAE’s Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be the honoured Chief Guest at the January 26 celebrations on account of which there will be Arab soldiers who’ll be gracing the parade. 

Before the Republic Day parade, India and the UAE will exchange some strategies regarding security and counterterrorism. Over this meeting, they’re also going to decide what the Indian Government will be offering to the UAE to boost the latter’s investment in infrastructure. 

The invitation to UAE’s Crown Prince is also an exception for India, as in the past 50 years, the Indian government has never before invited a leader who is not a serving head of state or head of government. Interesting, isn’t it?
