When we walked into Eggspectation, we actually had a lot of expectations and they lived up to it. This restaurant, with its plush decor and posh ambience, is a complete delight. We ordered for Yolk Around The Clock, Egg-Chilada, Uneggspected and some Brazilian Coffee, which were all cooked perfectly and presented nicely. Trust us the Brazilian Coffee is to die for. The place is open 24X7 which is a bonus. So, scamper there literally whenever hunger pangs ambush you!

A new feature to SDA’s buzzing market is City Social. The ambience is vibrant with wood log wallpapers, sky blue ceiling and a dartboard clock and an LCD. They serve an all day long breakfast menu and you just can not miss out on the Akuri and the Bombay Omelette Pao. Nicely flavoured and perfectly spiced, we still have a lingering taste in our mouths and can’t wait to go back there again!

Ivy & Bean is a quaint little cafe nestled in the bylanes of Shahpur Jat. At first, you may find this place difficult to locate but once you do, the ambience will drain out the day’s tiredness and make you hungry instantly. The restaurant has the option of indoor and outdoor seating; we chose the latter. We gave the starters a miss and went straight for the prowl with Baked Eggs, Cheesy Scrambled Eggs with Sausages and oh boy, we have gone stark raving mad over the succulent egg preparations offered to us. 6. Di Ghent Cafe

Our first impression of Di Ghent Cafe was warm and welcoming. The dimly lit ambience took our breath away. Since we belong to the hungry lot, our server helped us choose from amongst the best egg dishes that the restaurant creates. And so, we tried the Dampoort, Koningim, Drongen, and Claeys dishes. These dishes simply broke away the monotony of the staple “eggs and bread” combination & were a mix of healthy eating with binging. They were topped up with the choicest and freshest vegetables and the finest Italian cheese. You won’t regret coming here, so head over now!
