7 Delhi Roads Infamous For Massive Traffic Snarls Are Set To Get Redesigned, Folks!

Like every other Delhiite, we too absolutely despise the crazy traffic problems the city faces! In the past, a lot of attempts have been made by the government to reduce this issue, but to no avail. Now there has been a new development which is for sure gonna make you feel a lot better!

Say Bye-Bye To Traffic | The Delhi Government has approved the PWD’s proposal of reworking and redesigning 7 of Delhi’s major roads that are notorious for crazy traffic congestions. The approved stretches are Vikas Marg from Laxmi Nagar, Chungi to Karkari Mor, Ring Road from Mayapuri to Moti Bagh, Narwana Road to Punch Mahal, Wazirpur Depot Crossing to Rithala Metro station, AIIMS to Ashram stretch of Ring Road, Britania Chowk to Outer Ring Road West Enclave and Shivdaspuri Road and Patel Road. 

Scores of beautiful and lush green plants, pretty street furniture, toilet blocks, solar-powered streetlights and more such things will help beautify these roads! Apart from all this, there will also be a space for hawkers and pedestrians.

Phew! We’re so glad this change is underway and the best part is we won’t even have to wait too long ‘cause these roads are set to bear the new look by 2020! We can’t wait for all of this goodness that’s gonna come and make our lives so much easier by next year!
