DelhiHere’s What All Will Remain Open For The Next 21 Days During The Nation Lockdown
On 24th March, PM announced a lockdown of 21 days due to the rising cases of the novel COVID-19. Now, MHA has issued guidelines about the essential services that will be available during the lockdown and here’s everything you need to know about it.
Stay In, Stay Safe | Hospitals, other medical establishments, ration shops, fruits and vegetable vendors, groceries, dairy & milk booths, bank, insurance offices, ATMs, print & electronic media houses, petrol pumps, LPG, gas retail & storage outlets, online delivery of food, medicine and medical equipment, police, home guards, civil defence, fire and emergency services, disaster management & prisons, municipal bodies, district administration & treasury, telecommunication services, power generation, transmission and distribution units, hotels, motels, lodges and homestays that are accommodating stranded people, will remain open. As advised by SEBI, the capital and debt market services are to stay open as well.
But the services that will be closed down in lieu of the lockdown are transportation, all educational institutions, places of worship, hospitality services and industrial establishments. Any kind of gathering, be it religious, political and cultural has also been banned until further notice.
